UPCOMING EVENTS Spring Activity Guide Now Available The Spring Guide is now available from the Parks Office and city facilities or click on the heading above.  To receive a copy by mail,  call 775-2685 or email nneill@mylubbock.us.   Summer Activity Guide Available May 11 The Summer Guide will be released in the Lubbock AJ on Sunday, May 11, for Lubbock County residents.  Copies will be available in the Parks Office or on this website on Monday, May 12. To receive a copy by mail,  call 775-2685 or email nneill@mylubbock.us.   Summer Camps - Register Now! Call your neighborhood Community Centers to signup for a summer ful of fun, games and activities. Satellite Camps are $10/week for low income families at Trejo, Rawlings and Simmons Centers, and run June 9-August 15.  Regular camps are $75/week at Maxey and Hodges and run June 2-August 22.  Space is limited!   Summer Kickoff Carnival - Saturday, May 31 10 am-Noon Bring the kids for a fun morning to kick the summer off right!  Games, carnival booths, prizes and door prizes!   Hodges Community Center, 41st and University, 767-3706.  Free!     Lubbock Senior Center Now Open Tuesdays Til 8 pm Come by and workout on our new fitness equipment or bring your laptops, and join us for free internet and a cup of coffee. The Center will now be staying open on Tuesday evenings until 8:00 p.m. Call 767-2710 or stop by 2001 19th Street!   Lake Alan Henry 2008 Annual Passes Available Come by the Parks and Recreation Office and purchase your 2008 Lake Alan Henry annual passes for individuals, families and boats.  Also available at Grubs and Entrance Gate.  Parks Office: 1010 9th Street   M-F 8 am-5 pm.
