Senior Lunch Program
Hot lunches served  Monday - Friday 12:00 Noon
Suggested donation rate of $2 for individuals age 60 or older.
Guests under age 60 have a mandatory charge of $4.

 

BASIC STRETCHING EXERCISES

Basic exercises to keep you fit and strong!

Ages:  50+  Free

1:30-2 pm  MTTh

 

FIRMING, TONING, AND BUILDING

The universal weight machine get help you get ready for your summer clothes

Ages:  18-70+   Free

MTWThF            4-6 pm

 

SENIOR FIELD TRIPS

Enjoy the variety of attractions and events found on the South Plains. Offered monthly.

Ages: 60+  Free - Small Fee

 

BINGO

Eight to ten games are played with small prizes won.

Ages: 60+ $1/card

F 1:00 pm

 

FITNESS EQUIPMENT

A treadmill, exercise bike, and hand weights are available for seniors. Record your distance weekly.

Ages: 50+  Free!

Daily 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

 

HEALTH SCREENINGS

Screenings for high blood pressure and glucose are offered by Health for Friends or Covenant once a month.

Ages: Seniors Free!

10:30-Noon 1st and 3rd Wed

 

NUTRITIONAL SEMINARS

Texas Cooperative Extension Service provides information about nutrition for senior citizens. Free! 

Ages: 60+  12:00 Noon

2nd Friday

 

OPEN RECREATION

Recreational activities include dominos and pool with occasional tournaments.

Ages: Adult – Free!

M-F 8:30 am-4:30 pm

 

PRODUCE

Various produce provided by the South Plains Food Bank and other donors. First-come, first-served basis.

Ages: Adults  Free!

 

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation to and from the center can be provided if requested.

Ages: 60+  $1 donation.
